Cases of emergency:

  • symptoms of tick paralysis (gagging/retching, unable to walk properly, difficulty breathing) seizures
  • trauma from being run over by a vehicle
  • difficulty breathing
  • inability to urinate
  • swollen abdomen that feels hard or tight
  • it has been longer than two hours between delivering pups or kittens or there has been unproductive straining (bearing down without delivering) for more than half an hour
  • trauma to eye/s
  • After hours emergencies are referred to the Animal Emergency Service (see attached information)
